In this class we will explore 10 simple and easy mixed media techniques that you can use for any background such as cards, art journals, junk journaling, scrapbooking and canvases.

This course consists of two step by step classes to create blow art backgrounds with alcohol markers. You will be guided through the blowing and the outlining processes, with thorough explanations of art and color composition. In each class you will create one art background panel that you may use for a card backgrounds or alternatively frame and hang as home decor.

In this class you will create a unique personalized deck of cards to help you when you’re not creatively inspired. Each card can be customized with colors, textures and designs to align with your creativity. You will learn how to create each background using several mediums and mixed media techniques. We will explore layering, texture and composition while creating a very personal deck of cards.

In this course, you will be introduced to two variations on a layered background technique utilizing a gel plate, which will significantly elevate your gel printing skills. The class aims to increase your knowledge and proficiency in gel printing, enabling you to produce high-quality backgrounds. Additionally, a bonus gel printing method will be demonstrated towards the end of the video.
